As the time went by, people are becoming more and more interested in DIY products,especially with a enthusiasm on consumptions in daily life.

One customer named Jan from USA came to us at 12.2021,  he wanted to develop a unique high-quality mechanical keyboard case, for there are so many DIY keyboard cases on the market, he wanted his product to be different, and told us his idea of design, and provided us all information including drawings, materials, surface treatment and so on, and asked whether his design was feasible from the perspective of processing technology,and whether it would increase a lot of cost.

       Our engineering and sales team took a look at the drawings together.The keyboard casing is divided into four parts, the upper cover, the bottom cover, the key plate, and the keyboard cap.Because it is a customized product with high quality, the price will definitely be higher than other normal keyboard on market, but finally we kept the production cost under acceptable.

   We found some small problems in the drawings, the edges of the upper and bottom covers of the keyboard case are chamfer-ed. When they are combined together, there will be a tiny groove at the combined place, which will affect the appearance of the product. We suggest the customet to cancel the chamfering.

The customer accepted our suggestion, our production staffs will pay special attention to this chamfer-ed point during the machining to avoid non-qualified products, finally we verified the concept by producing samples. Jan and his team were very satisfied with the samples and happily approvaled of a mass production.

After that we set up a long-term cooperation with Jan on this project.
